In order to further promote the construction of English-taught undergraduates and strengthen the communication between international students and teachers, the School of Management held an online teacher-student meeting for International Economics and Trade (international class) on the evening of Nov 26th, 2021. Associate Dean Qiu Menghua, Department head of Applied Economics Ai Wei, Professor Wang Dan, Dr. Li qianlei, Mentor Ma Lixian and Dr. Xie Yanxi participated in the cloud teacher-student meeting. The meeting was hosted by Dr. Xie Yanxi.
The English-taught undergraduates have entered the stage of professional course learning in the second year. Through the interactive communication at the meeting, international students have a more comprehensive understanding of the specialized courses, which is helpful for them to prepare for the academic courses for the academic study life in School of Management. Dean Qiu answered questions rearding to the students’ concerns on overseas exchange programs, professional learning and career direction. Students agreed that the meeting session made them feel the warmth of the college family and have a clearer direction for future learning planning.
