From October 12 to 14, ACIEK (Winter) -IMIP2024 was successfully held in Shanghai University of Engineering Science. With the theme of Creating Expectations, Innovating Knowledge, and Achieving Common Prosperity towards Sustainable Development, the ACIEK (Winter) -IMIP2024 aims to promote exchanges on major theoretical and practical issues such as sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, knowledge economy and inclusive growth. The symposium attracted about 20 foreign experts from the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Japan, Slovakia, Pakistan, as well as about 280 domestic experts and scholars.
President Yu Tao expressed warm congratulations on the opening of the symposium and looked forward to the construction of multiple disciplines and striving to build an international academic exchange platform for joint construction and sharing. In his welcome speech, President Yu pointed out that in the face of the era of intellectual integration of digitization and knowledge explosion and the unremitting pursuit of sustainable development of human society, it is necessary for the management and other disciplines to think about how to contribute new wisdom and strength to building a green, sustainable and harmonious society, to the improvement of human well-being and the realization of common prosperity of the world.

In particular, a high-end forum called meeting with the editors of SSCI journals was held after the opening ceremony, providing suggestions on the topic selection and writing of academic papers to the audience. On the 13th, there were 15 parallel sessions in progress, providing valuable opportunities for communication and inspiration for the participants.
The opening ceremony of the symposium was chaired by Professor Xia Chunming, vice president of Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Professor Brandon Randolph-Sheng from Texas A & M University and Professor Liu Qingfeng from Hosei University delivered speeches in the opening ceremony. At the closing ceremony of the symposium, outstanding papers awards were announced and Professor Hu Bin, Chairman of this international symposium, dean of the School of Management delivered the acknowledgement.
