On the afternoon of December 10th 2024, Professor Shi Chunming from the School of Business and Economics of Laurel University in Canada, as a high-end foreign expert in the School of Management, held a seminar on Supply Chain Structure, Competition, and Blockchain Deployment. More than 20 teachers and graduate students from the School of Management attended the seminar.
Professor Shi holds a PhD in business from Washington State University. His major research interests include management science, operations management, logistics management, supply chain management and big data decision-making. Starting from the conception of the paper, Professor Shi introduced in detail the background of the supply chain research, the literature review and the process of model establishment.
Professor shi introduced the block chain, the characteristics of consumer privacy risk, established the supply chain decision model based on block chain and consumer privacy risk, and analyzed the relationship between supply chain structure and consumer privacy risk.
After the seminar, Prof. Shi had an in-depth exchange and discussion with the teachers and students.
