On the afternoon of December 10th 2024, Professor Shi Chunming from the School of Business and Economics of Laurel University in Canada, as a high-end foreign expert in the School of Management, held a seminar on Research advances on the strategic benefits of firm and supply chain decentralization. More than 20 teachers and graduate students from the School of Management attended the seminar.
Professor Shi has twice served as chairman of the Management Science of the Canadian Management Society and as several editor-in-chief of high-level journals. First of all, Mr.Shi started with a picture of Laurel University in Canada, and talked about the story of building the school and the school. In addition, Dr.Shi introduced the relevant background of supply chain management based on current cases, described the concepts and technology, characteristics and classification, explained the necessity of research, indicating the current possible research interests from the application scenarios and cases.
After the seminar, Prof. Shi had an in-depth exchange and discussion with the teachers and students.
